National University (nu) 3rd-year result
The results of the examination will be published in the grading system. According to the rules of the National University, the results are published within three months of the end of the examination.

Promotion 3rd year to 4th year for National University (nu)
a) It is compulsory for the student to appear in all examinations for promotion from third year to fourth year. A grade of D or above must be obtained in at least four theory courses attended in all subjects and practical courses must be passed.
b) If absent in 01 courses and get a grade of D or more in all other courses then the result will be Conditional promoted. Such students must participate in the said absent course in the 2022 Honours Third Year Examination.
c) Absent in more than one course or getting F grade in another course after being absent in one course will not be promoted, the result will be Not promoted.
d) Promoted/Not promoted students will take the exam in the course/courses with absentee letter and F grade and simultaneously can the grade improvement test in the course(s) with C and D grade (maximum two) in the next year.
e) As per Revised Examination Regulations the course/courses in which an examinee obtained grade F must be promoted to grade D or higher during the registration period (within seven academic years from commencement) for promotion to higher grade. If the grade of F is promoted to a higher grade, there will be no opportunity for grade improvement. Grade F candidate shall not obtain more than a maximum grade of B+ irrespective of the result in the course/courses for which he is promoted by subsequent examinations.
f) There is no scope for upgradation of grades in in-course and practical tests.
