Geological Survey of Bangladesh (GSB)
GSB means Geological Survey of Bangladesh. It was established in December 1971. The erstwhile East India Company established the Geological Survey of India (GSI) in 1836 to explore for coal in India. After the partition of India in 1947 and the independence of Pakistan, GSI was established as Geological Survey of Pakistan (GSP). The headquarters of GSB is located in Segunbagicha, Dhaka.

Everything you need to know about the application form and appearing in the exam
a) As on 01.03.2024 general candidate age limit is 18-30 years. The age limit is 18-32 years in the case of brave freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters of sons and daughters and physically challenged. However, the age limit is relaxable up to 40 (forty) years in the case of departmental candidates for Serial No.-1, 5, and 11 posts. "Departmental Candidate" means an employee who has been employed permanently or temporarily for not less than 02 (two) years in a post created in the revenue sector of the concerned department. The affidavit is not admissible for proof of age.
b) Candidates working in Government, Semi-Government, and Autonomous Organizations must apply with permission from the appropriate authority.
c) No allowance will be given for appearing in written, oral and practical tests.
d) The authority reserves the right to reduce the number of posts and cancel the notification. The decision of the appointing authority in the matter of appointment shall be final.
e) The prevailing rules and regulations of the government, relevant recruitment rules, and quota policy will be followed.
f) The authority reserves the right to partially amend or cancel the entire notification or the entire recruitment process without assigning any reason and in case further clarification of any matter or part mentioned in the recruitment notification is required, the explanation by the appointing authority will be considered final.
g) In cases not mentioned above, the rules issued by the Ministry of Public Administration will be applicable.

Application Process for Geological Survey of Bangladesh (GSB)
I. First, visit GSB teletalk com bd website: gsb.teletalk.com.bd
II. Then click on “Application Form”.
III. Select the post you want to apply for and click on the “Next” button.
IV. If you are a premium member of alljobs.teletalk.com.bd, select "Yes". Otherwise, select "No".
V. Now GSB will open the job application form.
VI. Fill the application form correctly and click “Submit” button.
VII. Upload your recent color photo and signature photo.

Conditions regarding filling of application form Geological Survey of Bangladesh (GSB)
(A) In the online application form, the candidate has to scan his signature (length 300 * width 80) pixel and color picture (length 300 * width 300) pixel and upload it at the designated place. Image size should be a maximum of 100 KB and signature size should be a maximum of 60 KB.

Candidates can send two SMS through any Teletalk pre-paid mobile number for the examination fee the post mentioned in Serial No. 1-13 of Tk 200/-(Two Hundred) Teletalk charges Tk 23/- (Twenty-Three) Total Tk 223/-(Two Hundred Twenty-Three), the post mentioned in Serial No. 14-22 of Tk 100/-(one Hundred) Teletalk charges Tk 12/- (Twelve) Total Tk 112/-(one Hundred Twelve) (Non-refundable) to be deposited within 72 (seventy-two) hours of submission of application. Even if all the parts of the application are submitted online, the online application will not be accepted until the examination fee is submitted.
